Muriel Brandolini's Manhattan home from a feature in UK Vogue February 2007.
I absolutely adore this eclectic house! And the colours! My God, the colours!
great thread.
i'm always holding my breath in anticipation as i turn over to that section of the sunday times style mag.
i'll see if i can find a few of my favourites from over the years from that and other magazines. .
i dont have a scanner....so i had to take digital shots of this article....
urban designer/property developer linda gregoriou's home in elizabeth bay, sydney....
she is also an art collector....as you'll see....
i absolutely adore this place-
the painted white floorboards are a particular dream of mine
I know I think white floorboards are gorgeous too but then I turn into my mother and think how they'll show up the dirt and I'd have to clean the floors like every hour!
When I get my own place I'm going to have parquet flooring. I absolutely adore the style!
wow i love to see inside peoples homes im so nosy
I love the fact that theyre not all neutral and 'perfect' they all show character and are all unique to the owner
I saw this home on tv a while ago. luckily I found a video of it on youtube. this is paulina rubio’s home in barcelona, spain. she presented it on the tv show mtv cribs a while back. I absolutley love this place, and was so impressed that the architect who built it [ricardo bofill], did so from an old concrete factory!
paulina comes across as a complete nut
writhing around on the bed in her underwear
the house itself is interesting.....
i love the white.....the high ceilings and arched doorways.....
not a fan of the dark wood in and around the kitchen though- its far too heavy compared to the rest of the light airy space.........
thx for the link-
i adore barcelona- would love to have a home there
Oh, some parts of Linda's home I really like, thanks for posting! I didn't know Australians also had white!
These are all from Finnish magazines, Finnish homes. The first apartment is small, but good ideas save space. The bed goes up in the wall, behind sliding doors!
