^ Such clean and sharp designs - definitely a designer's home! I especially like the outdoor lounge area.

particularly the white floorboards
. . my heart actually flutters when i see them
the more i see them the more i think i need to do that in my home :woot:

Just found this one I had saved from style in 2005.
Home of Harvey Bertram-Brown (music-video director) and his interior designer boyfriend, Simon Honeywood. Designed by the latter... so feminine for two men! ^_^

 the broken glass bathroom & jigsaw puzzle rug..
there is this feeling of two personalities there.. one more raw texture, the other sort of prissy garden like

that description really made me laugh.."artist, craftsman and socialist".!

^ yes it's a bit weird :p

but when you know about him, you can see it's totally part of his whole ethos / philosophy
in how he ran things
lived his life

he wanted good design for all
which is a bit ironic in the end because all of his products were made by hand
so only the upper classes could afford it

the textile print there with the birds is called "strawberry thief"

^ very interesting...and i can appreciate the irony you pointed out... isn't that always the way unfortunately :ermm:
