Roversi's a good photographer, but I'm starting to think he's a bit overrated. The wispy, romantic, high contrasty polaroid look isn't original and seems like all he does. His compositions aren't anything special and he has no connection with his subjects. If he's interested in doing good portraiture, he should pick non-fashion models with more expressive faces or at least use more interesting fashion models. some of the models he uses like Gemma and stella tenant are totally dead in front of the camera.
agreed on his compositions, they aren't at all special
but i think he has very distinctive style and it is his very own

Definitely. You see a Roversi photo and you instantly know it's him. And that says a lot of a photographer nowadays.

:o he makes all the models look like paintings... :o

That's exactly what I am thinking, really like those painting feelings.;)

A photo from his "Divina" shoot with Gisele, from 1999 I think.

thank you so much! I haven't seen those all Natalia pictures before. Love those.

Does anyone which editorial this is from?

trentissima

Peppi ... can you please provide a better credit for this image ... provide the link or location where you got it originally? Can't find trentissima ... it's not .com nor .it. I'm assuming that you did not scan if from a magazine .... since you are looking for the editorial.

See the tFS guidlines for information about how to credit any images that you post if you have any questions.

Oh ... you might get a better response if you also post your question in the Magazine forum ... there's a thread about where images were originally published. That might help you.
