i just saw that he shot natalia vodianova for guerlain as well... and that also doesn't look like his work to me...

i guess he's just sort of moving in a different direction?

i would have thought the whole point of hiring paolo roversi would be for his distinct photographic style...

*and it's not that i don't like the hermes shot.. i don't actually have a problem with it...
just doesn't "fit" with my perception of roversi's work

i thought the same thing. i love that ad actually, i think it's lovely, but it really doesn't fit his usual aesthetic... if eric valli had shot it again it would make more sense to me, or even someone like mario sorrenti for example.

right, exactly... i actually like the hermes ad and it represents the brand well...
roversi just would have not been on my list of guesses if you had asked me who shot it
