Hello Estefania - This book was published in April 1999

She was not even 16 then - so yes indeed as you say more of a beginning model and surely was not known back then yet. She had then just done the Elite Model Look I think.
As for the book, my copy says "first edition" April 1999.

Well whoops sorry for the confusion guys. The photo of Lara stone is from 2009, and not from Nudi actually. Made its way in with the rest accidentally. And also the series is from 1990-1999 (not 1991). Wow, I goofed up good. Was a lot of photos to keep track of. Apologies!!
