^^That is indeed Natalia, but the photo is by Mert & Marcus for W August 2006. The editorial was called "Call of the Wild" if I remember correctly.

Thank you so much! Can't find the complete editorial online but this seems indeed like a Roversi tribute by them.

She was not even 16 then - so yes indeed as you say more of a beginning model and surely was not known back then yet. She had then just done the Elite Model Look I think.
As for the book, my copy says "first edition" April 1999.

^Thanks, Paolo! I do believe you and when I search the book the results give the same publication date. It's just that Lara looks like an adult bombshell in the picture, whereas she looks very different (and actually her age) in these photos from 1999.
