Paris and Milan Men's A/W 05/06 - an overview

I think the writer is taking a very cynical approach, but I do agree with some of it.

" We may be in the post-metrosexual age, but I have yet to meet a man who would willingly wear floral trousers, Timmy Mallett aside."

I've had floral pants for 2 years now....

he says something about Marni in there...anybody seen it? I don't recall a thread here.

An interesting summation here , although I would disagree with the writer about the Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche Homme collection . B)

Any views ?

Kit, thanks for sharing.

I haven't yet read in details the reviews over the other designers, but I in the first place also disagree with the author over the disappointment on YSL rive gauche. Stefano Pilati has at least restored a higher authenticity to the core styles of YSL which had been rendered as overtly Gucci-esque under Tom Ford's creative-directorship, although one may argue that the edgy element implied in being "rive gauche" is yet to be seen, IMO.
