British model Patrick ‘Paddy’ Mitchell re-visits us almost four years after we first featured him on The Model Wall and my how he’s matured!

Scouted in 2009 en-route to rugby training, it’s hard to believe that Paddy has modelled for five years and is only 20.

Currently at university and exploring acting, he has shot editorials for Numéro Homme, Hero magazine, Re-bel, H&M Magazine, L’Officiel Hommes Germany, GQ Spain, Love and GQ Style.

Read Paddy’s Q&A to get a thrifty beauty tip and find out why he appeared on the news in Brazil!

Age: 20
Birth date: 04.10.93
Birthplace: Farnborough
Nickname: Pads/Paddy/Pad
How were you scouted: On my way to rugby training, walking down my street. A women jumped out of a bush, presented a business card with Select model management on and took a few pictures, then disappeared back into the bush to wait for her next victim…
What’s your best feature: Not entirely sure I have one to be honest, my girlfriend suggests my jaw line, so I’ll take that.
Favourite grooming product: I actually use a really simple moisturiser and nothing else to be honest and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I used to have bad skin so had to seek the help of a dermatologist, who introduced me to a cream called diprobase. It’s like £2.50 for a tube of it from a pharmacy and it does exactly what a moisturiser is suppose to do, so I’m happy with it.
Hobbies: Love to play and watch a lot of sport, my two main sports are probably rugby and golf at the moment. I’m also very interested in acting, so I guess you could call that a hobby.
Fitness Regime: The agency is always reminding me not to get too muscly, so I base my fitness regime mainly on bodyweight stuff and a lot of cardio. So a lot of push-ups, pull-ups, dips and variations of those followed by some HIIT (High intensity interval training) on a bike, rowing machine or treadmill.
Favourite Movie: At the moment it’s Wolf of Wall Street. Ridiculously outrageous film, but I think it had the desired effect. A lot of laughs in which is always crucial for me, if a movie’s too dark I don’t usually enjoy it. Life needs humour.
What was the last track you listened to on your iPod?: Want you in my soul by Lovebirds
Do you have any Guilty Pleasures?: Without doubt Chocolate biscuits
What is your biggest fear?: Loneliness is the only one I can think of to be honest, which is strange because I’m fine with being on my own, just not forever!
What is your dream country to visit?: Well I’ve travelled to quite a few places but I haven’t made it down to Australia yet so that would be one. My girlfriend keeps showing me pictures of the Maldives which looks beautiful, definitely love to go there.
If you were not modeling, what would you be doing?: I’d be at university, which I already am.
If you got to relive one day in your modeling career it would be…: Not entirely sure, that’s a tough question. Shooting on the beach at sunrise in Cape Town with Table Mountain in the background was a pretty memorable experience, even though I had to get up at something like 4am.
If you could be on the cover of any magazine, it would be: GQ I reckon, it’s the magazine I’m most likely to buy and read.
What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you on a shoot?: Getting papped by Brazilian paparazzi and appearing on Brazilian news was pretty funny. I think it had more to do with the Victoria Secrets models I was shooting with though.
What’s your favorite fashion city and why?: I can’t help but love New York. Whenever I’m there it feels like walking round in a movie scene. It has some of the best restaurants in the world, the people are so hospitable and interested in you and the fashion is great.
Who are your idols?: I’d usually say a sportsman like Jonny Wilkinson or something, I loved him as a kid growing up playing rugby. At the moment though, probably Ryan Gosling. I think he’s an incredible actor that can say so much without saying anything at all, it’s a talent that every actor aspires to and one that I’d love to develop.
What was the last dream you remember?: I had a dream the other night that I was in a pub and all the barman were dogs pulling pints and the head barman was my dog freddie, little bit odd.
One word to describe yourself: Ambitious

How much money would you need to shave your hair off? No amount of money would make me shave my hair off, but if it was for a good cause such as for charity then I’d definitely do it. Actually read this story on facebook the other day… some guy shaved his hair off because his girlfriend had to have chemotherapy and she lost all of her hair, I’d definitely do that if it made someone close to me feel better about loosing their hair.

holy ****. he's literally BREATHTAKING. if he is serious about acting, he needs to get training and get an agent and get to work, because he could be an absolute heartthrob.
