Patti Smith

^I love that too. Such a beautiful song and performance.

She hadn't performed in years and Dylan got her out on tour, in part to help her recover after her husband's death.

****must be a b*tch to harmonize with Bob Dylan...

she probably was very happy to play with him, coz she has always been his huge fan

I know her husband passed in November 1994, I wish I knew the exact date of this performance, but that's sweet of him to get her out of her slump by having her tour...do you know if she came onstage with him other nights?

Also, thank you La Bordelique for the karma!! ^_^;)

Ooh. If Juliette does get cast for the part then I'll be happy for her... because she has that unique raw personality and she's actually a musician herself. Even though she doesn't look like her physically, I think she'd able to play the role.

But I'm not really into the idea of a Patti Smith movie. I understand why Patti wouldn't be into the concept... it's a bit like why David Bowie hated Velvet Goldmine, with how movies usually blow things out of proportion, twist rumors into facts and etc.
