Perfect Magazine Issue #9 2025

I guess it’s better than the KimK/Elon Musk sponcon they did with last issue? 🙃

Inserts Oprah meme “you get a cover! You get a cover! Everyone gets a cover!” These multi covers are not only exhausting they make the magazine feel too overwhelming to want to even explore it. I’m not at all a fan of this magazine to begin with and comments prove this but all of this is just ridiculous and not needed. Ok period boots hunny!

Nothing about this makes me want to have a look at this magazine!! Nothing!! Why bother doing multiple covers that are all ugly!! If you are going to do multiple covers at least half of them should be good!! Only Shelia & Anok’s covers are good!! The rest honestly a waste of time, paper, money, energy… Also the most boring cover star choices have no interest in any of those people apart from Sheila & Anok…

Does this magazine actually have an audience? 9 issues and it's made zero impact from what I can see
It’s a vanity project.
It allows people like Rihanna’s stylist to get a credit. It allows influencers like Bryan Boy to feel more important because he is an « editor » and because of the affiliation to Katie Grand, people are participating willingly.

But then again, it’s another not very interesting vanity project: from an Art Direction POV, styling POV, photographic POV or whatever.

Agree but i also believe you can put some effort and make a great vanity project...until now i think best VP is Mastermind (with a lot of caution too)..

Carine's first issues were far better than what they produce now...there are some hightlight here and there.

I just realized that this summer I visited many stores and museums in London and Paris that sell this type of magazine, but I don’t remember seeing it anywhere. On the other hand, Mastermind and Self Service were everywhere...even CR in some places

Yes MAStermind is great vanity project.
It’s almost a pity that it’s that « elitist » because in terms of photography, styling and overall fashion content, it’s solid.
And elitism is not bad per say but I don’t know if people today are that curious to want that from a magazine. It’s ambitious to have interviews of politics, directors and all in the middle of pure fashion content.
And it’s not a publication that leads with it fashion content…Ever. We he celebrities on the cover in generally simple classic photos and inside, there are great stories that are equally great whether they are styled by MAS or not.
