I dont buy it at all

I have to disagree, cause let's face it. People wouldn't consider it try hard if Lil Nas, Harry Styles or any conventionally hot male celeb rn was in any of those shots. It's empowering to see someone of Sam Smith's body type embrace their body in this way and don't cower before countless harsh and quite mean criticisms thrown their way just because they decided to wear whatever they wanted.

Never got a copy of any issue of this magazine and it's a pity because it seems to deliver the kind of visuals and spirit I usually like a lot. This one looks no exception, I found myself to enjoy many covers so far even if there is most likely a couple that I find unnecessary (or even slightly gimmicky).
