Which everyone leaves...http://www.gigwise.com/contents.asp?contentid=3091Pete Doherty apparently celebrated the end of 2005 in typically bizarre fashion by throwing a party on New Years Eve and charging people £10 to get into his new flat.
The Babyshambles front man made several strange request of guests including ferrying them to the evening blindfolded so that they didn’t know where they were.
When they eventually arrived at Doherty’s new North London home guests were relieved of their mobile phones, cameras and shoes according to the Sun.
In the end the party turned into a bit of a let down with most guests fleeing by 10pm after the peculiar night with many still claiming they are still to get their possessions back.

 That Party suits him!

he took away the phones so nobody could film him like they did with kate

Ohhhh How much do we all love pete doherty.. His a classic !!

I know lots of people who went and they all had a great time.
Just to clear things up a bit:
They weren't blind-folded.
The reason the party ended (at 11.30, not 10.30) was because some "fans" were stealing Pete's things,
and then there was an incident in the bath which was also caused by some stupid fan.
The media is great at coming up with stories, aren't they..

It seemed like a great night from what I've heard,
Pete sang songs on request and seemed to be like he was in the good old days..

hmhm especially the sun is great at making up story's about him when they have nothing else to write and he's getting so much hate anyway so he's an easy target, but nobody ever talks about his music and i personnaly think it's great, been listening to libertines from up the bracket and babyshambles album is good to, but nobody ever seems to notice that....
