Peter Philips - Makeup Artist

thanks for posting all these goodies! , that shot is my all time favorite work by Peter, the story of how they came up with the entire look (which you also posted, non?) is always inspiring to read and a grand example of his artisanal skills and incessant creativity.. very Belgian.. definitely a great piece of fashion history to treasure in your archives, berlin.

I've ripped the VP+Loïc Prigent 30min. documentary about Peter ...
Lazy (and buzy) as I am atm, I don't know when I'll have time to edit the video ...

But I'll post it asap ...

It's in french - no subtitles !

Whatever

I hope you'll enjoy anyway ....

* btw ... if you know a site which can host a 280Mo video for FREE, tell it ... this way I wouldn't edit it in chapters ...*

that's so fun at chanel :P
for some reason i really didn't catch on that those designs were painted onto the skin by a makeup artist...
very clever

I watched that small documentary of Peter Philips in the DVD along with Vogue Paris a couple of days ago and I spotted a little drama there. When in Chanel F/W 09 backstage, a model was upset or even cried and the Peter went and comforted her. Could someone explain to me why that girl was crying there? Is it because those eyes' embellishments hurted her? Sorry I could hard understand French.

on contrary, i feel some tatoos are quite un-necessary. not all. some (especially the porte-jarretelles tatoos.)
but i like the brows.

Thank you, a.t., I love the subtle drama in the eyeshadow, it certainly matches the styling, which is quite impressive for Carine.
