Stunning supermodel, Petra Nemcova has taken the fashion industry by storm since she was crowned cover girl of the highly anticipated Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue in 2003. Petra has appeared in the internationally renowned magazine six consecutive years. A captivating, beautiful and charming woman, Petra has become an international phenomenon with star appeal that shows no signs of slowing down.
As a little girl in Karvina, a small town in her native Czech Republic, Petra dreamed of becoming a model, a wish that came true when she was handpicked by an agent at a local talent show. Soon afterwards, she was on her way to the fashion capital of the world where she began making her dream a reality. Petra has been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair, ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, InStyle, Glamour, Cosmopolitan and Marie Claire to name a few.
About Happy Hearts Fund (HHF)
A survivor of the Tsunami in Thailand, Petra is the author of “Love Always, Petra,” a true tale of courage tragedy and love. She also established the Happy Hearts Fund. HHF is a 501c3 charitable Foundation that was initially started to aid children affected by the Asian Tsunami that claimed almost 300,000 innocent lives. The mission of HHF is to improve children's lives through education, sustainability and technology.
Since it's inception in 2005 HHF has raised more then $6.0 million and supports over 39 programs including the building of kindergartens, schools, medical centers and computer labs around the world. To date, all our costs and expenses have been underwritten allowing 100% of your money to help the children.

About Happy Hearts Fund Contribution to Andrew H. Wilson Charter School in New Orleans
Petra is excited to announce HHF’s first project in the United States at the National Charter Schools Conference. HHF is donating the following new computer equipment with software to the Andrew H. Wilson Charter School in New Orleans (established in 2007 through a partnership between the Broadmoor Improvement Association and Edison Schools.
50 Desktop Computers - Lab Area
10 Desktops Computers Library
60 Desktops to allow for 3 computers in the 20 classrooms
12 Laptops for school administrators and social service staff
25 Laptops for classroom teachers including special education staff members
4 printers
1 plasma TV
