Lol, this is so bad that I actually enjoyed it! The Craiglist models, that convention-center chairs, the blue runway with the dirt of soles , the 20% battery screen, those dumb kids running around. It was a complete mess but also way more interesting that Virginie's whole Chanel career.

The first logical step would be a relabelling. Just "CARDIN" to begin with (and to try to be as far as possible for all the cheap licenses...well, if that is feasible...).

Yes, according to the biography I read, Cardin was the premier tailleur at Dior until he quit in 1948. There was a Dior sketch leaked and Cardin felt insulted that he was investigated (according to Jacques Rouët, he was never a suspect in the first place and the guilty person was from another studio).
