    i think what i appreciate besides his innovation was how uncompromising he was to the system. getting kicked out the syndicale is pretty scandalous in the world of fashion but somehow it never wavered his inspiration. he still churned out what he felt would push the boundries and egads did it!

    I'm a real sucker for space age fashion... so Cardin is naturally one of my favorite designers of the sixties.

    I had no idea he worked on La belle et la bête...

    If you ever get a chance check out his work in the 70's and 80's, it's incredible.
