That's how I feel most days out of the week, it's impossible to look nice in 90 degree weather here while walking everywhere (that = no heels) and lugging around textbooks.. I hate it lol..but sometimes a quick stroll to a store (even thrift/second hand store) helps =) That's what I do...that way I don't feel guilty for shopping lol.
I just got this two days ago at a thriftstore I went to..it was so random, but it's my new fav clutch

how I have missed this thread and all of our beautifully creative people who post in it! you all are gorgeous  I've been so uninspired lately but visiting here has finally inspired me and I had to play dress up. :p I watched the big sleep today and lauren bacall's sexy forties style has also inspired me...I did my hair in a very cute forties style chignon that I won't share, but here's the little outfit I came up with. ;) the vintage skirt is my grandmothers, and the shoes are vintage black velvet character shoes. the 'belt' is just a wide grosgrain ribbon sashed around my waist.

This is kind of dressy, I think. Not what I would normally wear, but it's Sunday :flower:

maraschin0 :woot: I love that shot....cute outfit and beautiful photo. ^_^

This has been school spirit week, but I only decided to do todays theme so far...

"Blast From The Past"..... ....Lots of people did 80's so I definitely stood out .... with the people who were cavewomen....and dinosaurs

Inspiration- Saw a picture of my grandmum when she was younger and somewhat copied the look (hence the carnation in the hair and a peasant skirt).
Original plan was to go mod.

I play dress up all the time. Between being an actress (or wanting to someday, since I'm not a professional or do it enough, I can't honestly call myself an actress) and just having turned 15 (I'm holding onto my youth :p), I'm allowed.
For my birthday a month ago, I wasn't having a party, so I decided I was going to have a premiere. I wore this long, gorgeous, silk, teal, daringly low cut dress with stiletto black high heels, applied smoky eyeshadow combining teal eyeliner with black, and paraded around my house. My dad's the best, he "played premiere" with me, too, and we watched a movie together and pretended it was the movie I was starring in. Yes, I still play pretend, and I love it.
