Poll: How do you like your jewelry presented?

So, I got a pair of earrings, but without a box. Help me pick which type of packaing you'd like - a tiny wooden box, or a velvet box (what color), or a faux leather box, or something else?

I suppose it would depend on the color of the earrings (gold/silver) and/or the gemstone....what would 'pop' the color...or maybe more themed? Classic earrings - classic box (velvet/leather); vintage-y earrings - vintage box; etc. Hope this helps.

I find a velvet one would be more luxurious... It's a nice contrast. Something metal to something fuzzy. I think a black box with white lining would be nice...
Black, red, white always go together well

A red box with white lining would also work I think. I really like how that last photo looks in the first post. It really brings out the colour ^^

faust, those earrings are fantastic! I'm sure mrs. faust would be happy with them even if you gave them to her in a brown paper bag.

I would definitely agree with gius that a white lining would be best for bringing out the color. Perhaps something a little modern, like this?
