Poll : The Oscars 2022 Best Dressed

After a brief hiatus from our monthly polls, we're finally back with a new Poll for the best dressed celebrity at last night's Academy Awards event!

I've made a selection of some of the most notable guests of the night, including both their main event and Vanity Fair party outfits in the poll. Feel free to discuss looks that weren't included in the poll as well as your least favorite looks of the night, as I'm sure there were plenty of those too.

As a special treat I've created a special section for our favorite models who attended the event last night, so I'm giving you an extra vote to give specifically to the best dressed model of the night.

Not a very spectacular night for fashion, but I actually liked a lot of the looks.

My top three votes go to Jessica Chastain, Zendaya and Tessa Thompson. Jessica's looks were simply etheral and my absolute favorite of the night. She looked spectacular in each dress, from the beautiful shimmery lilac to that glamorous shade of green paired with her fiery hair... sublime. Very old Hollywood glamour.
Zendaya was simply glowing last night, the cropped blouse perfectly showcased her lean torso and it looked beautiful with that skirt but the real winner for me was the Sportmax suit that fits like a glove! The shoulders, the waist, the hips, the brooch and a hint of purple underneath. Stunning!
And last, but not the least, Tessa Thompson and her spectacular raised collar (which I thought was just enough drama for the night until Will got up on stage), the outfit looks amazing on her.

Apart from the three looks, I particularly enjoyed both of Zoë Kravitz' SL dresses (that backless white one in particular!), Dakota's feathery Gucci piece (which I would personally like to own just for parading around the house), Uma Thurman's minimalistic ensemble, and Meg who looked stunning in that blue dress!

As for the models, my vote went straight to Hailey Bieber who I thought looked spectacular in Saint Laurent! I also rather enjoyed Kendall's look, she looked particularly pretty last night.

Favorites were Jessica Chastain, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Lily James. Least favorite? Oooh, that's a toughie. I'm gonna have to go with Halle Bailey, unfortunately. But this might be my least favorite Oscars red carpet ever. I don't remember last year, maybe that was worse? But I just missed the showstopping moments and the elegance. Even though I didn't love their looks, I do appreciate that Kristen Stewart and Zendaya did something unusual.


As for the models, no one is impressing me much. Hair and makeup looks terrific on most of them, but the gowns mostly range from ordinary to hideous. Taylor Hill's isn't mind blowing, but for all its simplicity, it is perfectly executed so I chose her.

most favorite anya taylor-joy & lily james, jessica chastain looked great at the after party. and i actually kind of like what that kodi smit-mcphee kid wore. also, kind of into zendaya's suit at the after party.

Shocked that Chastain's look was so well received. Just going on Gucci looks alone Dakota's was FAR better. In my view anyhow.
