It is absolutely commonplace for agencies to say "you can have this girl, if you book these girls as well" during the shows. That definitely can help new the girls at the agencies with the big stars.

That's shady...but I do believe certain models can transcend that, they just have to be exceptional. I mean Tiiu started with Major and booked everything, she was still held back on certain things but she did better in fashoin than one would imagine at an agency like Major.

true...I was always amazed that she never moved on at her prime to an agency like IMG, DNA or Women. They could've really got her to the right fashion people to extend her career. I mean her face is flawless...

But she does have a major cosmetics contract which is a very exclusive club for models. So she probably doesn't have to bust her butt doing too much...

Question: Do some shows and casting directors straight up deny seeing girls from certain agencies for no apparent reason, or for simply not liking the agency? I mean, there are girls from MC2 and Wilhelmina who are gorgeous, but never get anything big, yet ferocious beasts from IMG, Women, and DNA book big time shows.

^^I think that that is a a big part of it...not just with Prada, but in general. Girls from those kind of agencies tend to book smaller shows and then in time they may get noticed, and then gobbled up by a big agency, if they are lucky. I have heard before, that sometimes designers will put a lot of girls from one agency in to ensure that they have a good lineup, and that they do not have to settle.

well Prada this season had a pretty diverse cast from many agencies no? There were a couple of Major girls, women of course, IMG of course, why not..
