its only obvious Prada's inspiration were '50s skirts but they are done in a 'modern' way.

very cute skirt-but too 'retro' for me- I think this s/s is one of miuccia's best collections ever! I love all the dip dying. It also really celebrates Italian culture and the whole romance of southern Itlay which is where my family's from-so I have a soft spot for it...very sophia loren...lovely...
 
i called about the skirts & shoes with the print at Prada & was told that it was a print on a postcard from venice that Muiccia found in a antique store...i dont know if its true but thats what they told me :rolleyes:
