the peeptoe thing seems to be a huge trend for the season...
that- along with the platform give a very retro 30/40's feeling imo....

I adore the FW leopard platform pumps, absolutely gorgeous, everyitime I see them I have to handle them. Gorgeous.

I like the option of being able to wear them with or without the ankle strap a lot. They fit like a dream, too, and considering the heel is 5 inches high, they're pretty easy to walk in.

how do prada suede boots/shoes hold up? do they age nicely or is it difficult to care for suede?

Prada has made some really ugly shoes this season. The selection on NM.com.....looks like a lost-n-found dump for shoes. Its so random.

^ Well, every designer has a few pairs of ugly shoes here and there, not just Prada. Louboutin has a good number of ugly ones, especially if you look at what he has for spring 2007. And I have to disagree with you that Prada's shoes are really ugly this season. Sure, the selection at nm.com is not the best, but what's shown there is not their complete nor is it part of their best selection of what's available this season. At the Milan store they had some of the most gorgeous breath-taking shoes there. The craftsmanship and the detailing in the shoes is just unbeatable, especially for the price considering this. One can pay $800 for a pair of Louboutin that is just simple leather, no detailing or special techniques used whatsoever. But then you can spend that much money for Prada and get the most special leather ever and and very good detailing.

Pradas are pretty comfy for me too. my fave boots are like that pair in post #14 on the top right and they are pretty easy to wear. surprisingly!

I've got these too, they're perfect!
Just that mine are not made of patent leather.

I'd like to know one thing...
Does anyone know where to buy Prada online?
I just can't find a site where they have this season's Prada shoes - and the site has to be European.
