I don't know if I like her yet. She comes across as being very smug. And so far her style is nothing special.

She does look an awful lot like Mary. And OMG that engagement ring has to be the ugliest I have ever seen, and I mean no disrespect if it's a family heirloom but it is absolutely horrid! Poor girl, she couldn't even get a good ring out of the deal.I wish them the best and at least we know she's not into just his title or money.

But perhaps Marie Cavallier will reveal herself in the future and will developp her own fashion sense...

Speaking of the "Mary Makeover", it is weird in post#4 and picture #3 where Marie is looking at Mary. It's like the old Mary looking at the new Mary. It's weird! But I'm sure Marie will find her own style like you said and come into her own as a princess. I hope she becomes different and just doesn't copy Mary's style.

I have been following this since last year and I knew engagement was coming. I think she looks adorable in the pics, but when I saw a video of her, my opinion of her changed. She did seem very haughty and pleased with herself. Anyway, I don't like her fashion style, but it will be interesting to see how she evolves once she gets the princess treatment.

Really? I determined I liked her better when I heard her speak and to see her personality. I always thought she was a "gold digger" and now I have a different opinion of her. I think she's a young lady in love and I'm happy for them. But ya on her fashion sense, she is like Mary and all the other "before" princesses, they have little style and it's usually very casual so she will develop a much more mature and sophisticated style further down the road. Let's hope she doesn't turn out like a Princess Laurent of the Netherlands
That woman needs serious help and I can't believe the Queen lets her dress like that.

The video I'm referring to is the one from Danish Fashion Week. She seemed smug that day. But, seeing the engagement interview with her, I'm sort of neutral now. I can't wait to see the wedding though! I think she will wear something a little out of the box and maybe not as straight laced as we'd expect. But we'll see. . .Really?
