Proenza Schouler F/W 2025.26 New York

That appointment feels at least 20 years late, lol. They just don't have the sauce... Lookbook-wise, it's a great series of images. The clothes speak English, though. I'm sure they can't make them speak French.

I mean Loewe's legacy lies in its leather goods and accessories. It was never a leading RTW fashion house. The runways collection serve as more of a backdrop to emphasize the bags and shoes.

However, I still agree that these two queens will come nowhere what JWA was able to achieve. It's too early in the brand's success to hand it over to someone so dull.
Yes but once you enter the fashion game, you can’t hide behind « our legacy is leather goods ».
Loewe before JWA didn’t made clothes people cared about and therefore didn’t sell bags.

Thanks to JWA, Loewe is selling a ton of bags,( some of them are just clever re-designs of old bags) and also clothes.

And that’s the same thing for most of those brands.

Now, if we are talking about Ferragamo or Bally? It’s a a different equation.

Clothes do matter. It’s not just a geek thing for TFS. Most of those billion dollars brands sells at least for 100M of clothes so it matters.
