Though lots of sillouettes were derived from their Fall '03 collection they made it new by adding color and editing the pieces a bit. This collection also had influences from Coco Chanel and Rudi Gernich but was made their own by making them spotswera-like, easy and modern.

Overall a very cool collection fro P. Schouler that will be a sell-out (the label is so hot right now).

I really loved this. The first great show of NY Fashion Week comes 7/8 of the way through it. Kinda sad, no? But anyway, I loved the Chanel Deauville influence reinterpreted with their own now-signature collars, jackets, and silhouettes. It makes me anticipate summer all over again.

Slightly off topic: I assume the two boys are not straight. Are they partners? They are both sooooo cute!

hm, I like this. I can't say exactly why I like it... I think I really love the lines and the colour contrasts. I do think I would wear a couple of the dresses, the ones that seem to have a sort of 1920's art deco look about them. I like the trousers, too - nice, drapey wide-legs. and that bright yellow mac makes me happy, though I don't think I could ever have the courage to wear that.

i love this collection.

i love the use of bright colors... unlike luella and marc, these are not overwhelming and are completely wearable.

nothing too original. i see some very heavy vintage inspiration. but i love it nevertheless. i love the heavy lines and the contrasting fluidity of the clothing.

OK, the more i look at it, the more i like it...it's relaxed, yet pulled together
i also like the color combinations, but mostly, it's the cut of everything that strikes me: pants, skirts, dresses...

I don't think I'm feeling it. I think my hopes were up too high to expect something like this. I do like a few of the colors like the yellows and grays, but that's about it. Overall very average for them. I'm so glad New York is almost over.
