you are welcome brian

It's cool, albeit mostly in an incredibly ugly fashion. It's interesting looking at all that hand-detailing and everything. But the prices just make me laugh in dismissal at the very mention of the their name.

It's like an updated version of what my grandmother used to make, selling for thousands. :ermm:

i agree with alex...some of it works..like the white coat etc...but some of it just makes you laugh...lol..

the first top in post #28 is very pretty...
i cant even imagine where they begin to create these...

how long would one of these shirts take, on average, to make...?..

the burgundy skirt and long red coat are cute... amazing work, but its soo expensive.... are the rich southerners buying it? i cant imagine highstreeters up north wearing quilted leaf prints?

They have some good pieces, like the coats, jackets and a few tops. The homemade-esque, country-feel is charming, however I find their work a little too simple, formulated (pattern, cut, stencil) and old-fashioned and traditional. If ever, I'd rather go Dries van Noten. How much would these cost, btw? I'm hearing from the members posting in this thread, they're overpriced...

thanks for posting Runner - I honestly think the Project Alabama people must be laughing all the way to the bank!!! I agree that a couple of the pieces are ok...but just ok. I really really don't understand this label's appeal or indeed why its so highly priced - Imean a dress I saw in Paris was 12,000 Euros. Why? I know its artisanal & everything, but, it makes Carpe Diem look cheap (and the CD pieces that are £££ are leather).

Sorry for the rant folks!
