Public School Pre-Fall 2016

their best collection to date, though it feels like Phillip Lim.
i love Jackson's look.

Oh great, it seems they've stumbled across Damir Doma's old collections and have, in true form, managed to mangle them.

Nice guys, but talentless. And the editors who continues to pay lip service to these two have really lost their credibility.

God, this brand is dull as dirt.

Frankly, dirt is more interesting to look at than this to me.

It’s all such typical fashion trope 101: The mid-90s monastic silhouette, mixed with a more current-fashion patchwork of clashing patterns that may timidly suggest a cultural reference— but not really so as not to offend SJWs as being cultural-appropriation in their design and styling— therefore coming off as bland and generic as tablecloth.

Labels like this survive solely on hype alone, because to me, the non-descript designs can be bought, pulled together from any other trendy, mid-range brands out there.

I really think that most of the designers needs to take the Dries route and stop with the Pre-collections thing.

I only care for major/influencial designers collections. No one will ever get excited for a Public School or DKNY pre-collection.
When you are just average and your work doesn't influence your peers or the industry, why even bother?

I like them but that thing needs to stop.
