runner brought this company to my attention...another cool younger label...
i met with the designer/owner and got a first hand look at the operation and the process...
he was very cool and i think many of you will like these t shirt designs...
they are sold in japan and usa...
in nyc...at nom de guerre and opening ceremony and bond 07
in japan at united arrows

each piece is hand screened and one of a kind...
here is the link...i don't think i can post the pics...sorry... ;) :flower:

They've also been available for at least over a year at "one little west 12th." I bought one of their seagull zip mocks there then. Nice sense of using the body as a canvas, and each piece is completely individualized since they don't seem to like to do the same thing twice, even if it's the same style (they'll move them arpund juuuuust a bit to change it). Cotton quality is pretty nice too.

thx bakla...i've never been to that store...maybe we can go on an expedition over to that area one day...i need to explore...

Definitely. You haven't been to Destination yet!

On topic. I've seen this in Nom de Guerre, but I was not impressed. I'm just too tired of all this rogan clones. I liked the idea of a simple hoody to be lined with fur, but it was uber expensive. Call me a snob, but I like Rick Owen's use of coats made of non-luxury fabrics lined with fur better.

I agree with Faust. There are too many "downtown avant-garde t-shirt lines" as it is, and while this one is ok, I wouldn't say it has any element that makes it rise above the rest.

It's not a store that screams 'fashion,' but the pvblic items drew me in. For the cost of the tee, it was just an impulse purchase that didn't break the bank. I didn't know they bothered doing anything else other than printed tee shirts, which I have too many of anyhow.

not sure about the hoodie myself...but i like the graphics and the fact that each one is different...

i find the birds rather poetic...and there is a stained glass group that i also find quite beautiful...

the designs just seem a bit more 'grown up' to me...and it's true what bakla said...their t shirts are very soft and cozy...

Snob! ;)

And faust, I wasn't too impressed with Nom de Guerre in general. I went there when they were new, and again when they were said to be carrying Noah, but nothing worth buying in my book.

And yes, now that there's Destination (which barely has anything worth buying, except maybe the Kashura shoes imo), B8 Couture (hate that name - nothing they sell is actually couture), Jeffrey plus the other stores we can traipse about in on Bleecker, it can be an expedition! Lunch at Bivio...

You gonna wait for me to do this? I haven't been to Jeffrey's or Alexander McQueen's, even though I was just in the area for my CUSTOM CLOAK SUIT FITTING, which I should start a thread about at some point.. :) (Can you tell I'm excited?)

Of course, this could be an excuse for us to ALL show up at Alexandre's doorstep, but I'm not sure the Cloak folks would like that! ;)

Bah, a few words in Russian, and we'll be all right.

But anyway, let's plan this thing already!

Let's disagree about Destination though, I love a ton of stuff they sell. Collection Privee, especially. And they have many other unique things.

Agreed about NdG, nothing special. Neither is Ina in Williamsburg (really, do we need yet another store to carry Margiela 6 line?).

Metal-on-Metal, I miss you. :flower:

So YOU'RE the one keeping them in business! ;)

 Hell, no - how much do you think I make? I humbly help A, though.

Sorry, OT
