great thread! i found a iPod Shuffle holder from Louis Vuitton for $140 which could be more than the Shuffle! :D still i guess it's cute.

^_^ ...finally if your going to New York don't forget your New York Notebook for $81

The white-black one is kinda cute.. But come on, it's a toothbrush!

IMO, the mug-things are even worse:

Agree, and it's ten times worse IRL. I started laughing when an S.A tried to convince me to buy the mug and the toothbrush "as a set, very chic". I think the mug was around 30-35 dollars in store, while the toothbrush were around 20$

The whole designerphone-idea is also very pointless, yes. I think the prada one will be better than the supertacky Dolce & Gabbana, though.

now i'm happy i didn't buy my mom a $200 ipod case by B V that looked exactly like the whole pack!!!

can u imagine you mother with one of those collars around her neck with an ipod case on one end :ninja:

i hate most of this stuff... but i think we are getting a little unfair:
First of all the prada boat.... they are SPONSORS and they do sportwear so i don't see why they shouldnt advertise there too...
The Goyard dog stuff: well, goyard is a luggage maker (dogs travel too)
And above all: most of this stuff is fake!!! and it's really easy to tell the difference

i just think, about this pointless items and the people who buy them that one could spend A MILLION dollars on a pencil or an eraser only if that was the best one ever and if it is made by a house who produces nothing but pencils and erasers related stuff.

Buying a gucci pencil is like buying a a car at starbucks:
IT DOESNT MAKE NO FU**ING SENCE!!!!

i guess the pointless designer stuff is just a consequence of how people have lost the sence of luxury and savoir faire.

Because of this thread, I bought the Paul Smith toothbrush for a friend of mine...it's so friggin cute and he LOVES Paul Smith.

^ How much were they? I remember seeing one once and it wasnt too expensive, like £2.50

^ It was $11 I got the white w/ black bristles, cuuuute. I might get one for myself.

^ Thats not too bad

I have a confession to make too :p I bought a Prada pencil in the sales :ninja:

i bought a Saint Laurent ipod case (patent black and apparently leather) for 98€ is that pointless?
