I was just flipping through Elle Magazine where i saw a very simple Chanel key chain. Just the double c symbol on a tiny link chain. its nothing fancy at all. But yet Chanel wants 410 dollars for it. thats right 410 dollars! you could get the same exact thing maybe even nicer at Coach or Lacoste for 40 dollars or less. yet chanel wants ten times that.

(and as for the d/g restaurant... some culinaire journalist made a bad review of the food in it and they TOTALLY freaked out. they've been ranting about it a lot, and even removed all of their ads from the magazine that posted that review. i was just discussing it earlier with my friend. it was hilarious seeing them on the tv -esp stefano - histerically ranting about it )

i dont think it's been brought up in this thread already, but a couple years ago a d&g signature citroen pluriel was released... too bad i've never managed to find a pic... it was pretty tacky.... black and LEOPARD print all over!

ahahah no that looks pretty normal, but the one that was featured in the italian tv commercial, had the top and the parts near the windows in full leopard print. it was awfully funny!

honey, that's the idea behind those items! why pay less for something functional when you can pay gazillions of dollars for something that does the same?

I'm guessing the above is some kind of ironic art?
I can actually imagine the Hermes gun. Not with the huge HERMES PARIS on it though.
And if the Louis Vuitton monogram wanted to get anymore tasteless I think that is the extreme it would have to go to.
