The Pope Wears Prada
Um, isn't vanity a sin? According to this Newsweek article, the Pope wears Prada and Gucci shoes, and is about to fire the papal tailors who have sewn the pontiffs' garb for more than 200 years. "Benedict has favored his tailor from his days as cardinal, Alessandro Cattaneo, and the 20-year-old religious-fashion house of Raniero Mancinelli, which has provided the pope with dazzling new vestments (some with shimmering, sequinlike details)." Well, maybe he'll still go to heaven. According to Wikipedia, the Catholic Church doesn't really make that big a deal out of the seven deadly sins anymore.
