Not pointless because its a important thing to have

but...

I have a Marc Jacobs condom

It's in a matchbook and has a drawing of two people holding hands and "Safety First!-Marc Jacobs" in Marcs writing.

Would you mind posting a picture? Not of the condom, just the matchbook. It sounds cute!

just noticed this on eluxury- $130 for two louis vuitton cotton/polyester shoebags- not only useless(since most shoes already come with them)- but v.v. overpriced!!
Surely those cost under $1 to make. Hmmm...perhaps this is a new low for this thread?

I dig that Razr as a matter of fact. I just like the colour and it all. Not tacky to me.

^i agree i love it!

but whats with the Hermes pencil? I don't get any designer writing utencils at all, why'd you wanna spend $200 on a pen!!??

I would not pay $2,000 for that Razor.. It makes me stomach churn! I can just buy a regular one and spray paint the case in gold... hehe

What would a designer be without a box of colored pencils? Obviously not one of Marc Jacob's caliber. To follow in this fashion innovator's stylish footsteps pick up his complete set of vibrant sketching utensils. They won't have you coming back to the drawing board. —COURTNEY LEE

MARC JACOBS COLOR PENCIL SET WITH ANIMAL SHARPENER, ABOUT $18. MARC BY MARC JACOBS.

I take it they sell this at the 403 Bleecker St. Marc store in the West Village (New York)?

Colette wraps the season's hottest tech gift in Lagerfeld

120705h.jpg

December 7, 2005—It's not a well-known fact, but Karl Lagerfeld happens to be a big-time gadget fan (the man reportedly owns more than 70 iPods). Which helps explain the Lagerfeld-designed Xbox 360s you see above. To celebrate the release of Microsoft's anticipated new gaming system, Paris-based concept shop Colette enlisted the Chanel meister and a few other local designers to put their own twist on the geektastic gadget. Sonia Rykiel's interpretations sport stripe-adorned figures ripped from the Rykiel Homme runway. Andrée Putman, credited with conceiving and designing the first boutique hotel, encases hers in sleek chrome, and Irina Volkonski and DJ Pedro Winter contributed pink polka-dotted and chartreuse-sequined versions, respectively. The exhibit is curated by local graffiti artist Andre, adored for bringing "beautiful crime," as he calls it, to the streets of Paris (he also designed an Xbox). Where there's a blank surface, he will adorn it—and, in this case, invite a few fashionable friends to do the same.
The units are on display at Colette through Sunday, Dec. 11, after which they'll be available for purchase (prices: Andre, €350; Lagerfeld, €1,000; Putman, €1,000; Rykiel, €200; Volkonski, €369; Winter, €100). Colette, 213 rue Saint-Honore, Paris, 33-1-55-35-33-90, www.colette.fr

Here's the Chanel bottle holder.
It can be yours for only $750.

Or how about a Chanel travel bag with socks, a mask and an inflatable pillow?

You know, sometimes the stuff they give you for free on the plane just isn't good enough..

What really boggles the mind is that there are actually people buying stuff like the Chanel travel set. What's the point, why do they do it?

I guess that if you have more money than you can spend, it's a fun diversion...

The Prada toolkit is my favourite... I used to look at it in Milan and wonder. It's a bit funny to imagine someone pulling out a sleek set of designer tools to fix the toilet...

The travel kit is a bit practical as a matter of fact because if you're rich and you want to travel, I certainly know I'd want a Chanel set.

I was talking to my friends about the KL iPod collection and they were shocked but 70 iPods? Damn.

That's such a good idea! Would anyone know how to do the whole spray paint thing???

on ebay they sometimes sell the cases...so maybe one in gold...but you will need to take it to a mobile shop because they have to remove it properly...its hard to explain but just an idea :flower:
