It's great when you pull a lot of the looks apart but I am stuck on this one particular look:

A skirt over a dress? Uh? It's like she had too many pieces and not enough models.

another NY designer that i used to enjoy immensely and now just disappoints...such a waste of amazing vision and talent she is these days really.

and i don't care for this. looks like a bunch of banal sears/jc penney-like pieces she picked up in the local salvation army and put together. a lot of these prints are very grotesque for her knowing the great printwork she did in her earlier seasons.

I had such high hopes for Rachel...
Her work from the past had so much soul & distinction..
Save for a few interesting prints, it's such a non-event.

That's what it looks like to me as well. There are so many pieces I love individually, but the styling is all wrong.

I quite like a lot of this and I like that it's so wearable. It's not VISIONARY but it's very pleasant nonetheless.

i think the styling makes this appear less interesting than it actually is....there are actually some really lovely pieces and i love the colour palette. i think it's a pretty collection... not earth shattering, but definitely nice imo...

She definitely is playing to her strengths. That first dress is lovely and I think if the collection was spread out more it would be easier to see the cleverness of the individual pieces.
