Ralph Lauren - The Campaign Archive

Ads from around 1999. My scanns. Don't remember the name of the model! I know it was something piculiar.

^^ Thanks- that's one I've never seen!! I would have sworn Val wore that dress too... Any idea when it is from? I'm pretty sure that's Sharon van der Knaap, but Kylie wouldn't sound to far off either...hummm... (There is a library up in the RL offices with binders full of all the ads...I'd kill to spend a day there!!)

I love Ralph Lauren and his campaigns, my favs are with Valentina of course, Gisele and Tanga.:woot::heart:

When you get your personal Christmas List together...Amazon has a good price and a couple of "used" copies (although after 8 days I don't know how used it could be...) :woot: (fromFemaleFirst)

Ralph Lauren is celebrating 40 years in the fashion industry by releasing a special book to honour the anniversary.
The book, titled Ralph Lauren, was written by the man himself and features 700 personally selected images from past campaigns and collections as well as some of the most iconic images from the labels archives and never seen before personal pictures of the designer with his family.
The book also comes in a deluxe limited edition which is preserved in a specially designed embossed calf leather case for £200.
The price of the book alone is £65 and it will be on sale at Ralph Lauren stores on Bond Street and Westbourne Grove, Harrods, Selfridges and selected bookstore.

Yeah, I saw it here in Croatia. So the price here and in the other part of the world id the same!!! Unfortunatelly book was wrapped and in special case so I wasn't able to see the content.

Do not know the year, not sure about the model - Elaine Irwin Mellencamp maybe?

Ralph Lauren needs an All-American face like Hilary Rhoda. Bridget Hall was my favorite. Of all designers Ralph should be promoting American models.

Bridget Hall was also my favorite. But you can't say that this ads with Naomi are bad or average. They are great!

Oh, I'm all for Hilary...I was very disappointed she wasn't at the last few shows... And yes, Miss Ivana, that is indeed Elaine, who was actually at his big dinner after the show in September! ^_^ (And there were almost none of his models there...) :( (Getty)

Elaine Irwin-Mellencamp, Musician John Mellencamp Ricky Lauren and designer Ralph Lauren attend Ralph Lauren Show at Central Park Conservatory Garden on September 8, 2007 in New York City.
