why isn’t anyone investing on Ralph Rucci? WHY???!!!
It might be difficult for anyone to envision a business strategy for a brand like Ralph Rucci. It’s not even an Alaia type of operation…Maybe something like Herve H.Leroux (Hervé Leger).

On one hand, Couture is demanded today but it’s expensive to present a collection. And Ralph’s vision, while very modern has that old fashioned charm that resonate only to a very sophisticated, mature audience.

What could actually boost his work is maybe if someone like Rihanna, Beyonce or a Hollywood actress wear his clothes on the Redcarpet. But it requires a certain budget for it and we know that celebrities will either choose a brand they have contracts with or a young brand which will adapt it aesthetic to suit the celebrity.

It’s maybe sad that he doesn’t have much support from the press. A look even from his older work on British Vogue could totally bring back a major interest to his work…
