That ruffled red gown in the first portion is divine.

The most underrated couture house ever. Every single dress, gown, suit and coat looks immaculately made, the seams and lines are so clean. The embroidery is in perfect place, the fabrics are perfect for each design.

They really wrap together all the elements of couture that I admire. All their collections are extremely glamourous and wearable like old Valentino, some of their gowns are so simple but well made and luxurious like Armani (look at those white column gowns), the sex appeal of Versace, embroidery that could rival Elie Saab, fit and tailoring from JPG, day wear that fits in with Chanel and the drama and volume of Galliano's Dior. I can't wait to see this on the read carpet.

It's sad how the image of Haute Couture is nowadays tarnished by these dated, lifeless collections designed by people who have zero care for innovation, design and originality. This and many of the newer couture houses are just glorified dressmakers really, who have the means to make their Barbie-like creations alive. But I guess the HC federation have no choice but add these labels in, as the old houses aren't enough to fill the long days of the fashion week.

It's very well made but it's also not very original. It's the love child of Chanel and Valentino.

it's funny, if I had seen these images without their caption, I would've never known that they were from a Ralph & Russo collection. It's in no way similar to their previous collections. Just when I thought they were heading somewhere definitive in their spring 2015 show, they suddenly head in a completely different direction later on.

I suppose they are still trying to find their own voice and style.

Alas, The gowns are magnificently crafted!
