The top Raquel Zimmermann, 25 years, could not have received better present for Christmas. After being chosen as one of the most elegant of the planet by the site style.com, Raquel arrived to the stardom in another embellished door, models.com. Ranking universal of the planet fashion, the models ranks Raquel as the number 1 of the world. It is her first time in the pódium. This had alone been obtained by one other Brazilian, Gisele Bündchen.
Of 25 years, 10 as model, the gaucho of New Hamburg, is also the star of an editorial from the December edition of W magazine, photographed by Craig McDean. The layer is incredible - and is a highlight for the model. And it is not alone that. She finishes doing the campaign for Fendi, Gucci by Gucci - which is directed by David Lynch -, Valentino, Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel eyewear, DSquared2 and Calvin Klein.

It was about time: Gemma Ward graduates to Icon status, and Raquel Zimmermann finally takes the number one spot at Models.com Top 50 Models. She is followed closely by fellow Southern Brazilian Carol Trentini at number five.
The first time I ever saw Raquel was about seven or eight years ago while I was working as an intern for a New York designer. She was doing fittings for our show after being dropped from Ralph and several others. She was dropped from our show too that season. Now just look how far she has gone since Miuccia picked her to open a Prada show. It won't be long until she is called an icon as well.

I actually saw a small article on Veja(a weekly political magazine very famous in Brazil), saying what's up and what's down, Raquel is one of the things that is up

It says: Raquel Zimmermann
The gaucha is in every major campaign, show and editorial. She's the hottest girl from the fashion world right now.

I hope so But I remember they gave the cover to Gisele when she was no1 and she wasn't famous back then I hope Raquel appears on TV!

It may partly be because raquel is to busy right now to shoot a cover ! are there any chat shows shes likely to be on?

I can bet that when she comes to Brazil she'll appear in ''Programa do Jô'', Gisele , Evangelista , Schiffer they did did appear in this program, so prabably Raquel will appear there too.
