On this week’s Going Off Track, international model Raquel Zimmermann talks about how she left her home in rural Brazil at just fifteen years old with only a hundred dollars in her pocket and went on to star in Gucci ads directed by David Lynch and Lady Gaga’s video for “Born This Way,” with a lot of Vogue covers in between. We also get into psychedelics, Transcendental Meditation, Burning Man and she even plays a traditional Brazilian song for us on guitar.

There's a ? in my mind right now. I don't know if she's dating a guy named Travis and who he is. Jonah Bayer lets it slip out.

Jonah: I was with Travis last night.
Raquel: Funny, I was with Sarah.
J: Oh really? Oh yeah she said, like, she was texting Travis, she's like 'Hey I abducted your girlfriend or something' - Anyways we can edit this out no one's gonna have an idea what we're talking about.'

- She says she gets to pick and choose jobs now, so she mostly just likes to work for Vogue and big brands. More focused on her meditation stuff.
- Doesn't like doing runway anymore and has stopped about 3 years ago (I guess with the exception of exclusives).
- Her last jobs was for Prada! (I hope that means she's doing the campaign again)

i'd rather have her front smaller brands as an only girl rather mg prada campaign.

the problem with prada campaigns is that they just use to many girls. these kind of campaigns are not made for stars like raquel.
