(LOS ANGELES) Guests attending Friday’s Viktor & Rolf for H&M launch in Bel-Air will be treated some delectable eye candy. That’s because the Swedish retail giant, in collaboration with Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, have erected a four-tier wedding cake, 12 feet in height, that will serve as the fashion show’s backdrop. Models will walk down a spiral staircase erected around the cake onto an elevated, circular runway; show attendees will be seated at a series of quaint, white cast iron café tables during the runway presentation. At the end of the show, which will be followed by the traditional cake cutting ceremony, the designers will make their entrance with Raquel Zimmerman, who will sport their $378 silk-and-tulle bridal gown designed for H&M. The one-time Viktor & Rolf for H&M collection hits 250 H&M stores worldwide on November 9.
