She looks so amazing for Animale. It is crazy how well she fits platinum!
I think exactly the opposite, this colour is terrible and doesn't fit her skin tone
I hate this "superplatinum blond" trend

so many campaigns and editorial work, thanx for the pix and info updates everyone!

I like the icy blonde on her, really pops at the Animale show, also the new Fendi ads are pretty:D

Raquel Zimmermann headlined the Animale show in her sole runway appearance in São Paulo. Animale fans suspected that Raquel would lead the show—she’s been the line’s famous face for five years—and the cheering crowd welcomed her down the catwalk. The collection was tough and futuristic—think leather dresses, laser cutouts, and thick bondage-style belts. The models all sported identical smears of metallic green eye shadow and crimped hair. It was pure runway theater as Raquel starred in the designer’s vision of an otherworldly Amazonia. These looks certainly were not for the faint of heart, but somehow she made it look easy.

We hear that after this exclusive walk Raquel will stay in São Paulo to shoot the Animale summer campaign. Keeping with the show’s theme, she is rumored to be posing in a faux rainforest made of bamboo and trees over three days in a local studio. We wonder how many girls will be trying out skin-baring synthetics and crimped hair thanks to the supermodel next summer in Brazil… ~ Isabelle Miller

raquel is seriously the next icon. and i find that she also has an amazing body... her body is not skinny as skin and bone, but with muscle. maybe the only girl in the business with a 6-pack... lol.

speaking of icons.... is she still moving from #1 on the MDC list to the icons list???

More info on the Viktor & Rolf fragance!

French beauty giant L’Oréal has unveiled its second women’s fragrance under the Dutch fashion designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren’s Viktor & Rolf license. Eau Mega comes four years after the 2005 launch of the duo’s first fragrance, Flowerbomb and three years after the 2006 men’s fragrance Antidote. “Flowerbomb is sensuous, Eau Mega has an extravagant freshness,” Rolf Snoeren tells CosmeticNews. Created by Oliver Polge and Carlos Benaim of IFF the green floral juice was built around natural ingredients, including violet leaf, basil and jasmine, with the addition of a pear note.

The clear glass flacon, which holds the pale yellow juice, is equipped with a built in an oversized atomizer with a patent pending, dubbed the Megamizer. The metal squeeze spray applicator was designed by US-based Baron and Baron.

“[Eau Mega will have the] same positioning as Flowerbomb. It will be distributed on the same sales network and aim to be in the top five [women’s fragrances sold] in those existent doors,” Viktor & Rolf international managing director Ladan Lari tells CosmeticNews, adding that despite the difference between the two scents, Eau Mega has the same humor-based “Viktor & Rolf twist” as Flowerbomb.

Retailing for €52 (30ml); €72 (50ml) and €90 (75ml), Eau Mega will roll out to the brand’s 4,500 doors internationally from October. The launch will be supported by print and internet advertising. The visual, shot by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, features model Raquel Zimmermann as a super heroine flying over a cityscape.

speaking of icons.... is she still moving from #1 on the MDC list to the icons list???

i think so... last i heard was that she was going to move to the icons list and lara stone and natasha were up for the number one spot...

The September Issue (she apears a few times)

RZ needs to be in that Icons List, and Natasha deserves and needs to be in that No 1 Spot, not Lara

A little interview..

In a country where a trip to the plastic surgeon is treated like a visit to the dentist, the beautiful are idolised. And they don't come any more beautiful than one of the world's leading models, Raquel Zimmermann. The stunning 26-year-old has appeared in ad campaigns for the likes of Giorgio Armani and has graced the cover of many a magazine, including US Vogue. Oh, and she's dead nice too. Grrr. So in the backstage frenzy at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, GraziaDaily grabbed 60 seconds with the uber-stylish Brazilian model to talk all things fashwan.
What's it like being on Vogue's best dressed list?
That was such a surprise and I'm very flattered. I asked them why, though! I didn't understand why they chose me but they said it's because I have my own style and I then I realised it's true. I don't dress to please anyone else, just me.

What is it about Brazilian models that makes them so successful? From Gisele to Adriana Lima, Brazilian models occupy nearly all the current top ten positions in modelling. We think there's something in the water!
Brazil is a huge country and there's a mix of cultures, so I think this mix makes for beautiful people. You get white people mixed with black people. I know I look very German though! But it's not just the south of Brazil, where I come from, that produces the best models - Adriana Lima is from the north.

What's your exercise routine?
I love taking my bicycle and going to the park. That's my favourite thing.

Is that all? So you're naturally quite fit?
I'm lucky genetically - my parents are both slim also.

You were recently filmed for a documentary, speaking about your career. What advice would you give a young model who's just starting out?
Be professional - and keep your feet on the ground!
