And I think you're right but some of these designers are so fickle, you never really know with them. But I don't doubt that perhaps the campaign is included as part of the deal as well as some serious cash otherwise she would not have severed ties with Animale with whom she has been with and to me it appeared there was mutual adoration and respect.
^^ Yes, in the beginning it sounded like an International brand and then word got around that she's in talks to walk for another Brazilian brand but not until SP's Spring/Summer that's after this coming fashion week. Money talks and Raquel hasn't reached her Iconic peak.
It's all confusing to me now and I'm hoping it's an international brand because of the prestige it brings. Nina Ricci exclusive sounds divine!!!

Yes i do remember reading and hearing that KK's fee is $50,000 but for some designers in NYC she reduces her fee to support them. I don't think that Raquel can command that kind of fee though because she doesn't have the fame and world wide recognition that KK has. However, I'm sure she commands a pretty penny given her status in the industry.
That is such a challenge, especially since I didn't follow her early years. I'll try but it may take a while.

what happened to raquell this season? she doesnt get anything besides nina and nina is not a big brand. i hope her over exposure from last season wont affect her career in a long term.
i blame her management for didnt do a great job last season. a model with that kind of caliber doesnt need to do 8-9 hf campaigns in one season. bc overexposure can kill a model's career. her management should think about long term career rather than short term.
i hope her overexposure is only short term. i really love to see raquel in blue chip campaigns again. she is one of the best models ever.

You are talking like Raquel is a rookie.
When she has I think 14 years now in the business, belive me her management and she know what they are doing, maybe she wanted to take a year "off". Who knows? But I think she does whatever campaign, exclusive runway, or ed's she wants at this point.
It's frustrating because we haven't gotten much work from Raquel in the last two months. And as a Raquel fan, sometimes its hard not to get worried a bit when she hasn't been around for a while. But, like we were talking about a few pages ago, it's not unusual for an "icon" models career to have high points and times when they are a bit MIA. It also seems that she is lying low right now by choice, being that she is on vacation in Hawaii surfing.
As much as I really wish we could get more work from Raquel right now, she worked really hard last year and is deserving of a vacation and an opportunity to spend some of the money she made
And although sometimes I get a bit paranoid, I know deep down that Raquel isn't going anywhere. She said herself last year that photographers (probably Sims, I&V and Meisel) have told her that she can have a career as long as Linda Evangelista's and that's what she would like to do or something along those lines.

She's only twenty-eight. The difference between the way one looks when one is seventeen and when one is twenty-eight shouldn't be incredibly significant if one takes care one's body.
^ I know but with some models the age sticks out more than usual. I'm not saying that she's old. I just mean that you can't tell if it's an old or new editorial if someone showed it without revealing when it was taken.

This jorurnalist was just making a joke about something that took all the country by storm this week.
There is a TV add where a father says something like that:
"I recommend you to buy an apartment in this building. Not just me but all my family, except Luiza who is in Canada"
This sentence was replied everywhere in Brazil the whole week (Except Luiza who is in Canada >>> Menos a Luiza que está no Canada).
Google the translation and you will see.
This sentence made the girl (Luiza) very famous and she had even to come back from Canada earlier to film a new TV add.
I know it is ridiculous but this is what happened.
