Yeah someone said that MK & Ashley has Linda Farrow but they themselves said they have the Rayban & I actually saw it said Rayban on Ashleys so maybe they have both who knows but most of the time when I see them wearing them they are the Raybans.

Yeh i recently bought the plain black Ray bans. Cost me £120 though! eeek now come on London, Where is the weather??!!!

Where are some places where I can just get cheap wayfarers? I don't have any vintage shops near me and I honestly do not want to shell out $120 for raybans. (but if i had no choice i would)

I think H&M have some. B)

Forever21 has a really cheap pair of red ones and black ones for 4.80. They're not the best knockoffs, but I guess you get what you pay for.

I think I saw a pair of knockoffs at Target, too.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but UrbanOutfitters.com has some good looking copies. They have white, red, and black and they're $14. Photos are from UrbanOutfitters.com:

I simply came to report that this trend has taken Minnesota by storm and perhaps has even been seen in North Dakota. For those not in the know, this means you should put them away. They are no longer cool.

Haha, ok not really. Wear what you want. Just please make sure they don't look stupid on you (because IMO they do on a LOT of people.. not bob of course..)

I'm happy they've become a trend now like they were in the 60s and 80s but then it kind of annoys me cos it was like one of my signature items! And I've always worn them cos I like them and the retro vibe they have, not cos of the scene and such like some wear them.

^ True that. I really am trying to not let myself get sick of them.. I mean, the only alternative is geometric shades (miu miu), some aviators or clubmasters

that I like, other than these.

I just bought today some black wayfarers from Smashvintage on ebay (they have them in almost any color there) :D

BTW what does everyone think of the tortoise wayfarer?

I have tortoise! ^_^ darker though, so they look blackish. I just wear more browns/tans than black/blue.

How cool! I want them but kind of confused on them, think they'd make me look much much older...

These look quite fresh on the right person, I love the white pair Chloe Sevigny used to wear but I've yet to find a pair of wayfarers that looks decent on me. :( I need to look harder, its almost sunglasses season.

just out of interest, would anyone here purchase a pair of ray ban wayfarers, at the typical ray ban price if they didn't have the name written on the arms or on the lense?
