I adore the wayfarers, butttt I think you have to have a certain style or...presence maybe. I know that sounds ridiculous, but I think just like big, glamorous Jackie O. Sunglasses, you have to kind of look a certain way. That being said, I don't think I'm cool enough to wear the wayfarers or pull them off or anything like that. I've trie them on a million times [ only the black, I'm still looking for a store that carries the tortoise, they always seem to be sold out ] so, I'm desperate! haha.

I prefer the black ones over the tortoise shell because they're more rock and roll. The latter is defintely more accessible and still looks great, so i think they'd be great for you if have doubts whether wayfarers will suit you. And i'm sure you're "cool enough"! My english teacher has them and he looks very stylish. I want to steal them.

i have the ray-ban wayfarer in black, white and now the red...they are my fave sunglasses now! i can't leave my house without them...here's me in the red ray-bans!

they do sell them in red and also white (but it's like white on the outside but black on the inside of the frame if that makes sense), as well as black and tortoise. the red are sold out almost everywhere apparently.

i went to a ray-ban market appointment yesterday and they showed us camouflage ones they are debuting for fall (in a green/khaki shade and also a red/orange/khaki shade)...they were sort of cute i took a pair for my boyfriend

I like the Wayfarers very much, but I think you ned a certain look to pull it of.
I don't know if I have it, so I haven't bought a pair yet.
How long do You guys think they will be around this time?
I mean, are they just going to around this summer, and next year it will be someting else?

For now, I just have a pair of red, and a pair of black aviators (not Rayban, though) and the suit my face very well, so I wunder if I will ever replace them, with the Wayfarers.

Hey, I succumbed to this trend...but to be quite honest I don't care. Surprisingly, they fit my face really well a total surprise, me + glasses usually aren't a good match. I was on ebay for weeks, seriously weeks, looking for some. But at this point the prices are just too high for me. But I love the look of the two tone Bausch and Lomb wayfarers. And just two things:

I got mine from Gooden's Sports, I just googled wayfarers, and they were wonderful, quick and most importantly heavily discounted Ray Bans.

2nd, I'd like to know if anyone bought a pair and had them fitted with prescription lenses? Or is everyone just using these as non prescrip sunglasses?? I'm going to use mine as my everyday glasses (nearsighted).

if only some of these girls were as original or intellectually fashionable as Bob Dylan and Castello. I think some of these looks can only be pulled off by people who have the image and corky style and none are around, at lease among our age group.
