Ugh my dad had the original Ray Ban WAYFARERS and he accidentally broke them! He was so upset because he always wears them! (Even inside the house lol)

I wanna buy some, but my budget doesn't allow for the 2140s.
I found some other versions for cheaper so I was wondering which ones are better RB2132 901 or RB2113 901?

Well on ebay you can buy the new 2140s for some dollars less, some are even being sold for $100, while they're normally $130.

I own a pair of classic black Wayfarers, which can seriously never do you any wrong. I haven't tried on the New Wayfarers. Has anyone else? I like the idea of a tortoise frame with green lenses, as a nice alternative to black on black all the time.

I bought the tortoise Rayban's a few weeks ago...I love the look of them! I'd definitely consider giving them a go

Although, the fit is kinda smaller than regular raybans (I tried them on)

But jesus, I am SO sick of them.

I have the smaller ones, in black. I´ve had them for some time now. I used to have them in tortoise. I´m mostly inspired by my stepdad, who has been wearing his Wayfarers since forever. Also by Reservoir Dogs and Bob Dylan. Thank god not so many people here wear them, because then I would have to put them away for a while. Unfortunately, whenever I open a magazine they are there.

How many different styles does ray-ban produce of the wayfarer? this is really confusing...????

i own the black "original" wayfarer style (RB2140)...but i now want a larger version. do i need to buy vintage? or do they make a larger version?

also, what exatcly does "folding" mean?

I think the larger one is called RB2039, but I am not sure

Ive just bought the RB2140 in black. I must admit I was a little swayed by the celeb factor, but my choice was largely because I dont have the right features to wear the ubiquitious oversized sunnies that are more widely available nowadays and the Paris/Nicole association with big sunglasses puts me off.

SO tired of them, and I think that people are not using them the way they should be used. They can look cool on someone with a style inspired by rock for example, but I've seen many other people using them, and it looks not-so-good.

I was just trying on some cute wayfarers and the guy at the shop suggested I try on the small size. They were cute! Anyone have any tips on how to wear these?
