Revlon 'Live Boldly' 2018 : Achok, Raquel, Ashley, Imaan, Adwoa & Rina by Cass Bird

I'm surprised with Iman. Doesn't she have Shiseido's contract?

it's like the brand is trying so hard to tell ppl we r diversified, everything is political now

It seems that contract expired. And she's clearly not exclusive at Chanel plus Revlon seems to be making more of a fuss about Ashley and Adwoa than her. Definitely not the right brand for her. I need her at EL or Lancome. Time to dispose of Joan Smalls.

i feel embarrassing for Raquel, a real super model, have to shot such kind of crap, guess she is well paid indeed.

I think Achok is a miscast. It should have been Pooja Mor or Jing Wen.

This is a cheesy way to start.

However, I saw a commercial today with Ashley and it looked much better, in the realm of Maybelline, Rimmel or L'Oréal. I can't wait to see one with Imaan or Raquel. It was smart move to sign these four as spokeswoman since their CEO just stepped down, they should differently go in that direction of their competition.

I couldn't describe it better. Those ads had such an impact on me that I'm able to remember them decades after they first appeared.

A cast like this given the same treatment? It would have been a new era of 'unforgettable women'. As it stands, I probably won't remember this image come this September.

Totally agree... These pics were unbelievable... This pic looks ... The girls are nice, of course, there's no chemistry... Seen and forgotten!

Well, reports are going around that Revlon did exceptionally poor during the 4th quarter of 2018. And that was when they pushed this campaign aggressively. I'm not saying this campaign is THE reason the brand didn't sell, but I'm sure it's part of it.

Revlon had some fabulous ads back in the day. Halle Berry was perfect for the brand. Unfortunatley they fell behind with the times. They tried something new with Emma Stone, but really? Emma Stone? They are now struggling with the stigma of being a brand for older women. I don't associate it with anyone under 40. As for the ad, it looks like it should be for H&M. Where is the product? It's not a good ad. I haven't seen the print ads yet so maybe there is still hope.

I remember watching these ads on TV when I was younger and I loved them. What a fabulous campaign!

Where did it go wrong?

This commercial is diabolical, it looks so cheap. No one wants to look or be like these girls.
