Born and raised in Youngstown Ohio in 1982, Ronald John Rogenski's early years were spent amongst the football fields and golf courses. Working at Wal Mart after high school wasn't good for him.. RJ decided to make a decision and start a career in modelling.
RJ took the advise of an IMG agent to move to New York, this move would prove to be the catalyst for his amazing career. Soon after his arrival in the summer of 2002, RJ has already shot campaigns for Michael Kors S/S 03 and Hugo Boss “Orange and Green lables” w/ Fabien Baron, Burberry, D&G and Michael Kors S/S 05 w/ Mario Testino, Bill Blass w/ Steven Klein, Tommy Hilfiger w/ Patrick Demarchelier, HUGO w/ Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, Club Monaco w/ Terry Richardson, H&M w/ Richard Avedon, Levi’s w/ Nathaniel Goldberg, DKNY w/ Steven Sebring both print and short film, ColeHaan w/ CraigMcdean,TSE w/ Carter Smith and Valentino, Versus& Versace w/ Steven Meisel. RJ’s easy going nature has made him a favorite on shoots. Since he started modeling he has already been featured in editorial spreads for i-D, Dazed and Confused, NuméroHomme, POP, V Man, Mixt(e), Details, W, GQ, German & L’uomoVogue and Arena Homme Plus. His editorial and advertising work has provided RJ with the opportunity to shoot with other top photographers including Bruce Weber, Nick Knight, Terry Tsiolis, Alasdair Mclellan & Willy Vanderperre.
RJ spends most of his time working in London. Paris, Milan and New York and has gained an appreciation for the diverse people and cultures that modeling has exposed him to. What little time he has off, RJ spends most of his time working on his new house in Columbia County, New York.
