Roberto Cavalli Mens S/S 09 Milan

What's with the colourful pants? I like the collection but minus the colourful pants :p

Something about this seems fresh for Cavalli or maybe it is the white runway. Either way, I like some of it if you only look at pieces individually.

Some of this looks almost 70s... Some of this looks like Link (from "Legend of Zelda") came out of the closet and moved to Miami.

its not the runway its the clothes. Cavalli actually surprised me with this one ,he introduced a lot of things , firstly wide lapel jackets done in a casual way is something I honestly havent seen in 30 years , printed jeans for men (which look uber tacky) in 20 years and im feeling those oxford pants , the girls dresses are fabulous , i want them all . One things for sure this collection will be influential because it does stick out from the other collections for sure.

Those wide leg pants are just wrong. They don't even flatter the models well. I love the printed pants but some of styling is just off. I really like some of the individual pieces though.

I'm shocked to say this, but I love those wide leg beige trousers. They look very similar to a cut that Tom Ford did for YSL mens back in 2002 that I loved to death.

I mean, as a collection this is completely schizophrenic, and that kills me cause he could've had something really good here if he abandoned the prints and skinny pants. But a few individual pieces (that black contrast piped blazer for one) are totally desirable.

^^^^ its not shocking , its just people arent use to seeing them on the runway for mens , i think wide leg pants for men is welcomed change seriously ,oxford pants is something i havent seen in a looooong time , it would have been better if those hideous printed jeans were excluded.

Actually I've always loved a wide leg trouser, my shock comes from the fact that Cavalli managed to do them really well.

I love and hate the pants. Mainly because they're skinny and extremely baggy..

I love the wide leg pants...and thats about it.

The patterns are hideous and overwhelming.

The dresses on the women are stunning though.

One or two of the leather jackets are nice (not the hideous ones, basically), like the double breasted black one and the deep jade.
And are those shiny baggy trousers?
Love that blue and white patterned single breasted.

well he offered everything under the sun , its upto the person to pick out what suits him best . Some of this is awesome and fresh ,other pieces like those printed jeans are vomit inducing .
