Roger Dubuis Watch - worth it ?

What do you guys think about this watch. Ive really wanted one since I saw a friend wearing it. Its so different ..

The one shown on the picture is with diamonds. I plan on getting the plain one and it costs about $13,000. Its mechanical. And they limit each edition to 28 pieces only so its a very exclusive watch.

So, worth buying or not ?

It is a really unique watch and if you absolutely love it to death, it's going to be difficult for anyone to change your mind. Go with your gut. What do you love about it? THe colour? The uniqueness? How do you think you will feel about it in 5-10 years?

Personally I wouldnt buy that watch for $13,000. Im not a fan of the design..its not really classic looking enough for me and it looks a bit trendy.

Second that. For $13,000 I would invest in a more classic & timeless watch that I will enjoy wearing even when I'm 50 It could even be a family heirloom to pass down to a daughter

This one looks trendy & has a "Guess watch" feel.

Dubuis has several types of watches. The one in question is part of his Followme line. I don't like it BUT about half of the Google searches for Roger Dubuis lead to replica sites selling knock offs of this watch.
He also has some lines in a more classic fashion, many of which I find very interesting.
