forgot to mention this-- roger vivier's shoe salon is not available to the public YET, or so i have been told. its by private appointment only.
yes, i read that too, somewhere.....but i wonder why? there is surely a larger clientele to go from here....

ooh thank you for introducing me to him! I'm almost positive that I also have heard of him before but didn't pay much attention. Some of the shoes aren't for me (like the boots) but some are absolutely divine!

I LOVE the shoes in this thread, all of them. They remind me of old Hollywood, very glam.

here they are, my 2 pairs of viviers :heart:
the 1st is the comma heel shoe in black satin. i think this was circa 1980..
the black suede stiletto heel is circa 70s i think, back when vivier was making shoes for christian dior.
enjoy!

sigh i love that pink d'orsay type shoes with pink ribbon...:heart::blush::blush:

i guess the tods group somehow wanted to give off that hard-to-get hype... makes people wanna clamour for them more  hehe and from the looks of the shoes, hey id line up for one of them :woot::woot:

Those are beautiful! It's nice to come back and see others talking about true masters of shoe design and architecture. These are two of my shoe idols, along with Rene Caovilla.
