Brazilian constructivist artist Lygia Clark’s graphic and colorful aesthetic — a key influence on Roksanda Ilincic’s resort collection — was a perfect complement to the designer’s elegant lineup. A-line dresses and long evening skirts came saturated in hues and featured blocked panels in heavy satin. A speckled iridescent plastic was cut into thin strips to create floral embellishments on a fun, cotton sweatshirt swing coat. Ilincic also played with bonded fabrics, giving one cocktail dress a contrast color inside its oversize bell sleeves.
