Cecilie Harris recently photographed Elite Model Rory Torrens for 'Closer', wohoo! We are incredibly excited about releasing the book to the world, which is why we keep releasing said excitement in short bursts, by teasing you all with little sneak peeks.

Rory is the epitome of a model, he's cool, suave, friendly, laid back and focused. His posing in front of camera is impressively seamless and natural, and it's Rory's confident natural approach that makes him so unique. He showed Cecilie around his home and happy places where he chills after a day of travelling around, allowing her to capture him in his own personal environment and comfort zone. Look out for the pictures of the olden day boxing gloves and an ultra cool hammock in the book.

But for now, we leave you with three lovely photos, showing you a subtle hint of what was captured during the intimate journey of creating 'Closer'.

Tell us what you're currently up to and any exciting projects you've got going on.
Mostly working, I've just got back from Tokyo after two months there, then Hamburg for five days. So now I'm just gonna chill and see all my friends. It was great fun and I worked with some amazing people over there.

What inspires you and why?
My mum. She is great and has done it all. She's the best person in the world and is just awesome. She's where I want to be at when I'm her age.

What do you do when you're not working?
Chill, have a drink, see my mates, play football, play fifa and listen to music.

Who would be your ultimate brand, designer or photographer to work with?
I like meeting new people and photographers. Any campaign would be nice. I'm quite open minded and I enjoy it all.

What's the best piece of advise you have ever had?
From my Grandfather, "dinau fash", don't worry and enjoy yourself. The most important thing is that you're happy in life. Getting a bit deep.

Is it true that nothing good happens after 2 am.
Definitely not true. Some of the best things that have ever happened to me have happened after 2am. Fun stuff. Good things happens after 2am.

We do meet a lot of musical boys through Boys by Girls and often they send us playlists full to the brim with super cool music for us to listen to in the office; thus today we share with you the music loves of beautiful boy Rory Torrens at Elite Models London

Rory was featured in our second book “Closer” back in 2011, and since we hadn’t caught up with him in a while, we thought we’d see what was currently on his iPod. Describing himself as cheeky, naughty and mischievous (although points out they all mean the same), we weren’t sure what to expect from Rory in terms of musical choices. Packed full of classics plus some tunes even we’d never heard of, we’ve had a listen and have decided… we like!

Bruce Springsteen – Glory Days
Black Sabbath – War Pigs
Sam Cooke – A Change Is Gonna Come
Rodney P – The Nice Up
Jehst – Starting Over
Big L, Kool G Rap – Fall Back
Shyheim – Furious Anger
Genius/GZA, Method Man – Shadowboxin’
Onra – I Wanna Go Back
Muddy Waters – I’m Your Hoochie Coochie Man
Stealers Wheel – Stuck In The Middle With You
Stevie Wonder – Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I’m Yours)
